What is TOPROC?

The Top End Regional Organisation of Councils (TOPROC) comprises the seven Local Government Councils located in the Greater Darwin Region who are committed to securing a brighter future for the Northern Territory. Importantly, TOPROC currently represents approximately 195,000 people, which is over 78% of the Northern Territory’s population and is home to over 70% of the Northern Territory’s registered businesses.

Since 1997, TOPROC has provided a strong collective voice on Top End issues and a collective forum to strengthen Local Government in the Top End and benefit the community.
